Fast forward, almost to present time. October 2015, four seasons of training, racing and a few injuries. Sprints, Olympics and a pair of 70.3's.
There is something about this sport that is like a spell that is casted and takes hold of you. For most of us, this is true. So here I am, I did it, I registered for my first 140.6 Ironman, in Maryland. Wow! The funny thing... I wasn't planning to do this big of race in 2016 but a series of signs set me on this path.
My Coach John Pottebaum has assured me that this will not be easy but it will be well worth the journey. No doubt.
