Saturn in Scorpio

Saturn in Scorpio On October 5 transiting Saturn moved into the sign of Scorpio where it will remain for approximately for the next 2 1/2 years. Saturn is the planet that structures our lives through achievement and responsibility.   Saturn is known for its “taskmaster” qualities, testing our character through limitation. The lessons associated with Saturn shows us where potential lies through the paradoxical box it seemingly holds us in. Scorpio deals with the inner sanctums of life and the underworld of our psyche. There is nothing casual or aloof about Scorpio. Power, control, conflict, death/rebirth, vulnerability, secrecy, co-mingling of resources (connection), and sexuality are some of the key descriptions associated with Scorpio. Bringing a theme of intensity that gets down and dirty. Saturn entering Scorpio’s realm immediately challenges control and power. The Seventh Chakra

Location:   Top of head. Influence: Cerebral cortex, upper skull, skin. Associative Color:      Violet or White or Gold   Central focus:  Connection to spirit, enlightenment, self-realization, fulfillment, faith, individuation, humanitarianism, , selflessness, transcendence, attachment. At this level the intellect is abandoned and the experience of a “knowing” is realized as is an established connective cord to the Divine.

The Sixth Chakra-The Third Eye

Location:   Brow Influence: Brain, base of skull, nervous system, eyes, nose, pineal gland, pituitary gland. Associative Color :  Indigo Blue Central focus:   Self-reflection, the intellect, intuition, psychism, clairvoyance, truth, wisdom, illusion, imagination, dreams, visions, symbolism, archetypes, pattern recognition.  This chakra relates to wisdom and the search for truth.  In the sixth chakra, “our purpose is  to see the way, and bring the light of consciousness to all that exist within and around us.” While our two eyes allow us to perceive the physical world the third eye sees beyond the physical plane into the world of symbology.  It is the task of this chakra to interpret and assimilate information into meaning that leads to self-reflection and understanding.  Dreams are the bridge to the unconscious. Through symbolisms in our dreams we can access unsolved missing pieces of ourselves and obtain broader creative vision in which to see life.  Our dreams can take us beyond t
