"The only thing that is constant is change."

The intension of this blog is to share information, contemplate life and to ask questions.  I do not claim to have any answers to these questions I ask. The only answers I have are to my own personal beliefs, which can sometimes change daily based on any given experience.

Is change the initiation for chaos?  Do we seek transformation or does transformation seek us? Transitions, letting go, surrendering to what cannot be controlled. "Everything must stay the same" a mantra that we all live with inside the human condition of the ego. If you think you can escape this, look again. "Yes, I want change to happen, I understand that it needs to happen but please don't let everything turn to chaos." Again I ask, is chaos the initiation to transformation?  Change moves us from one pattern into something new. In this process a pattern must be broken for the new pattern to be created. When something breaks, fragmentation occurs. The law of natural order. This fragmented outcome becomes the chaos. Whether we initiate the change or it is "put upon us" , chaos will occur. This sort of non-localized energy where there is no order, as least from our limited perspectives, can send us spinning into fear of the unknown.  Is chaos really something to fear? The unknown can always feel quite daunting. Why? If we can understand that change is constant, not from the perspective of our ego but from the depth of our soul, then isn't it possible to find peace within the divine chaos; the ego's intention vs the soul's purpose?

  1. I don't have trouble viewing chaos as a catalyst for change. However, change as a result of chaos is not likely transformative in nature. Change due to chaos is ego-driven. Change that precipitates due to chaos occurs because of the self-realization that you "deserve something better" or "want to present yourself differently" (see "a-ha" moment). Interestingly true transformation can organically give birth to "something better" and "a different presentation". To me, the "soul's purpose" is fundamentally the same for all spirits and it can be enhanced by the presence of ego. Once we develop the reason for our existence, life sheds its chaotic layer. There is a scientific theory that infers the universe is headed towards chaos. Loosely stated, the basis for this chaos theory is that for every physical action some amount of energy is lost. This is due to the concept of entropy (2nd law of Thermodynamics). But, the 1st law of Thermodynamics states that energy can not be created or destroyed, only transformed. So where does the lost energy go? If you limit the analysis to that which is known today, the energy goes towards disordering the universe. However, what if the lost energy is not lost at all? What if it comprises the "ether" that makes up what we call outerspace? What if the spirit can process that energy and transform it into good Energy (alpha element); i.e love, caring, kindness etc.? Hmmm....

  2. In going over my last posted blog entitled "The only thing that is constant is change". I made a big typing error. The first line that read "Is chaos the initiation for change," was incorrect. The correct writing is "Is change the initiation for chaos." A big difference! Thanks Mike for you comment. It made me go back and read what I wrote!

When we modify or adapt to serve a new or different purpose, we transform. When we go beyond, rise above, overshadow or eclipse, we transcend what we were and become something new. When we take transformation of our physical or lower perceptions to their highest expressions, the spiritual or higher state of being determines how this energy is directed. The conversion of these energies causes an alchemical reaction that creates a new way of perceiving and experiencing our reality. The "leaden" lower self (body) connects to and serves the higher "golden" self (soul) -  this is the meaning of alchemy.

The Seventh Chakra

Location:   Top of head. Influence: Cerebral cortex, upper skull, skin. Associative Color:      Violet or White or Gold   Central focus:  Connection to spirit, enlightenment, self-realization, fulfillment, faith, individuation, humanitarianism, , selflessness, transcendence, attachment. We work our way up awakening each chakra to arrive at a form of enlightenment in the Crown Chakra. This is not a journey’s end, but a rebirth and beginning that which some describe as “Kundalini Awakening”.  Here in the seventh chakra awareness of our spirit is realized and our connection to a more encompassing spirit outside ourselves. This spiritual connection is not religion. Religion speaks to the tribal mind and is associated with the first chakra. When we awaken to the seventh chakra we are open to cosmic energy that is linked with Divine wisdom and thought. At this level the intellect is abandoned and the experience of a “knowing” is realized as is an establis...
